The title says it all: Take all the nice keyboard parts from The Whitest Boy Alive and mix them together with Phoenix‘s or The Kook‘s music and you get the wonderfull (and still unique!) sound of The New Wine.
Just two weeks ago they stopped at Hive Club in Zürich and surprised the (sadly small) crowd with grooving fresh electronic music – and I’ve never felt like dancing to an indie liveband so much before (since I’m not really into that genre)!
Getting support from famous names like The Whitest Boy Alive I hope they’ll enough attention for bigger concerts and more album releases. Great stuff.
Here my two favorites of their album “Waves” I bought at their concert:
The New Wine – Foreigner’s Blues
