It all started with three friends from basel who discovered their common passion for electronic music and were driven by the incentive to deliver the tracks they liked in a first-hand professional manner directly to your ears and nervous systems – nothing more, nothing less. DEVICE is what emerged out of this simple idea. Our goal is to share our love for music and entertainment with you. We see ourselves as the connecting link and trigger of emotions. The belief that our tastes enable us to provide you with pleasure, enjoyment and parties which will burn into your memories drives us.
DEVICE stands for Dynamic and Energetic music which is Versatile and Inspiring and is provided and performed by three Creative and Enthusiastic guys from Basel (Switzerland).
We would be honoured to convince you that we are the DEVICE you have been waiting for.
Do the math and enjoy our first (exclusive) DKDNZ Mixtape called “we are…”.
We are Flo, Sam & Pascal aka FRQNCY and this is our first Post for the brand new DKDNZ. Blog!
There would be plenty to tell about us but we Disco-Monkeys are lazy writers. So instead we took our good spring vibes and packed them into this smooth and lofty Mix exclusively for DKDNZ.:
Although you might think so, this post is absolutely not about telling you that I’ve stolen my name from a popular track (since even if it inspired me, it would have had to be subconsciously and somehow forward in time). No, this post is about saying hello and tell you the 5 most important things about me:
I’m one part of Monkey Business, the more-than-famous VJ team
I organize and host parties. Recently “Der Zoo + Die Party” in Zürich, for example
I love everything shiny and nice-looking, especially if it’s interacting in some way
I therefore like to create things that are shiny and look nice, preferably (inter-)active things
I will mainly post about art, nightlife and trends. Be prepared.
And to not have you bored just for the sake of boredom, here’s a funky track by Belgian DJ Twist It. You can listen to and download it in a full 320 kbit/s quality – which will be the standard for music files on this blog, by the way.
But first check out the video to the track, made by Brussels-based Narco Media Vision – a consortium of 3 artists who, amongst other things, do live streams of parties on their site NarcoTV.
See you around – and don’t forget to subscribe to our feed, fan us on Facebook or set DKDNZ as your home page.
