I just got my hands on the new album of The Glitch Mob! They’re an avantgarde Hip-Hop trio from California consisting of edIT, Ooah and Boreta, who all are successful solo-producers as well. I’ve been following their progress in the last two years and they always managed exceed my expectations. Their style is hard to describe: Massive, excessively distorted basslines, cut up vocals, robotic bleeps, clicks, scratches and noises and totally fucked up Breakbeats. This shit is far beyond the MPC-sampled 80′s and 90′s era. If you listen to the tracks I have upped for you don’t expect something you can chill to – this sound is made to destroy! Enjoy!
